empower each other | make JAMAICA better

Do Good Jamaica is an non-governmental organization, founded by Deika and Kassim Morrison.  Its objective is to encourage organizations and individuals to work together in activities that are charitable and improve the lives of Jamaicans.

Our major project, Crayons Count, is a campaign to support early childhood education in Jamaica.  It is supported by many organizations and individuals, here and in the Diaspora (see here).  It’s two main objectives are to:

  1. increase awareness of the importance of early chilhood education and good early childhood practices
  2. provide recommended learning tools to early childhood institutions in Jamaica

Our information portal (dogoodjamaica.org)  is for an about civil society organizations, providing a virtual home for sharing information.

dogoodjamaica.org features a searchable database of civil society organizations, as well as the relevant regulatory, planning and development entities.
